Less than one hour's drive from Johannesburg, tucked in the foothills of the Swartkops Mountain Range, lies Malina Country Lodge & Fishing Estate.
The 120 hectare estate situated in the heart of The Cradle of Humankind Natural Heritage Site encompasses natural spring-fed dams, the Blaaubankspruit River, poplar forests and natural rocky outcrops with far-reaching views over the Swartkops Valley.
The 3 bedroomed house with large open-plan living areas makes an ideal getaway for couples, families or groups of friends.
INSIDE LODGE
Relax in the spacious main bedroom. Stretch out on the king size bed with crisp white linen, down duvet and pillows or enjoy a luxurious soak in the free-standing bath.
Large glass doors open onto a private garden and the house's deck while a gas fireplace, under-floor heating and electric blankets keep the winter chill at bay.
Two stylishly decorated smaller bedrooms offer equal luxury and comfort, containing a queen-size and two single beds respectively. These rooms share a bathroom with shower and basin, and a separate toilet.
OUTSIDE LODGE
A covered wooden deck wraps around half the house, and creates a unique zone where natural beauty and creature comforts effortlessly combine.
Stretch out on an upholstered chaise longue to absorb the warmth of the African sun or curl up on the oversized couch and watch the rippling waters of the spring-fed dam.
Sink into the comfort of generous armchairs to watch the changing hues of the Swartkops mountains at sunset, or sit at the expansive dining table to paint a watercolour of the swaying poplar trees.

# Bookings must be made and confirmed no less than 48 hours prior to the check-in time on the day of arrival
# To confirm a booking a booking sheet must be completed, signed and retuned to our office via fax or e-mail along with proof of payment into our bank account (details on booking sheet) of a deposit of 25% of total cost of stay
CANCELLATION POLICY
# The 25% deposit will be forfeited if the booking is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the check-in time on the day of arrival
